The Hebron Board of Selectmen approved a bid waiver and awarded the fiscal‑year 2025–26 road resurfacing contract to Glasgow Materials, following a recommendation by Public Works Director Paul Forrest.
Forrest explained Glasgow will be working in the neighboring district (Marlborough) and could extend state bid pricing to Hebron for adjacent work; the company offered competitive pricing on both milling and paving and could start as soon as the following week on Skinner Lane with a later return in August to complete other projects. Forrest said Glasgow’s combined milling and paving pricing was lower than other bids and that the firm had capacity for the town’s schedule.
Selectmen approved the bid waiver and award by voice vote. The public works director will coordinate scheduling and contract details and will provide the board with the project timetable and street list for the FY 2025–26 resurfacing work.
