Sierra Court acceptance delayed while town engineer reviews stormwater basin

The Town of Cheshire Planning and Zoning Commission on May 28 was told Sierra Court is not ready for acceptance while the applicant addresses stormwater basin comments from the town engineer.
A staff update said the development is otherwise ready but the town engineer (Merrick) is still reviewing the stormwater basin and that the commission will likely see the item again once the engineer completes that review. Staff added the town will retain a 10% maintenance bond for one year after acceptance for maintenance purposes.
No formal action was taken; the commission will consider acceptance after the town engineer signs off and the outstanding stormwater items are resolved. Staff indicated the item could return to the commission in approximately two weeks.
