Board approves transfer and two appointments to town commissions

The Board of Selectmen on June 17 approved a personnel transfer and two appointments.
Human Resources presented a request to transfer Kyle Fisher from Equipment Operator II in the Highway Department to a Sewer Operator position at the wastewater treatment plant; the board approved the internal transfer unanimously. HR said Fisher had worked as an equipment operator since 2019 and was the only internal candidate for the posted sewer-operator position.
The board also appointed Jeff Platt to a three-year term ending Dec. 1, 2025, and Tom Cronin to a two-year term ending Dec. 1, 2025, filling unexpired seats on town commissions. The appointments were recommended by the relevant commissions and approved unanimously.
