Hyde Park board names Bryce Holland as district's DC BOCES representative

The Hyde Park Central School District Board of Education selected Bryce Holland as the district's candidate for the Dutchess County Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) during a roll-call runoff at its May 20 meeting.
The chair conducted a roll-call vote, reading each candidate and asking board members to indicate “yes” or “no.” The board registered unanimous "no" votes for the Rhinebeck candidate (read as Mark Fleischer/Fleischauer) and unanimous "yes" votes for Bridal/Holland, after which the chair confirmed that the district's vote would be for Bryce Holland. A motion to accept Bryce Holland as the district's candidate was moved, seconded, and approved by voice vote.
During the roll call each of the five board members on the dais recorded a vote; the chair summarized the result as five "yes" votes for Holland. The public record shows the board used a roll-call method for the runoff and then approved the selection in open session. Board members did not discuss qualifications or contest the selection on the public record during this meeting.
