The Lewis County Fiscal Court approved transfers moving budgeted funds into the motor vehicles line for law enforcement to allow the purchase of another vehicle.
A court member asked, “What is this transfer on, law enforcement equipment motor vehicles?” A staff member replied that the transfer was into motor vehicles so the department could purchase another vehicle; no dollar amount was provided at the meeting.
Moody moved to approve the transfers and Joey McCann seconded. The clerk called the roll and recorded yes votes from Mark Horsley, Johnny Osborne, Judge Sparks, Joey McCann, Woody Underwood and others present; the transfers passed.
The motion carried without recorded amendments or conditions.
