Board approves contracts, leases and donations in routine consent agenda

The Riverhead Central School District Board of Education on June 10 approved its consent agenda, clearing a range of contracts, renewals, a lease and donations.
The consent-agenda approvals matter because they authorize services, partnerships and budgetary arrangements needed for the 2025-26 school year.
Board members approved a contract with Eastern Suffolk BOCES for the 2025–26 school year and accepted a memorandum of agreement with the CSEA. The board also authorized contracts with US Medical Staffing and Simply Innovative for educational and behavioral services, and approved a third contract with Island Wide Auto Truck Collision. The board authorized a contract with Omnia Partners and approved the renewal of the All Suffolk Auto School contract for the 2025–26 driver’s education program.
The board approved a lease agreement with Just Kids for summer 2025 and the 2025–26 school year, and accepted the donation of more than 2,000 surplus elementary library books to the Book Fairies. The Jacob Marley Foundation donated $5,000 to the Jerry Schlipp Memorial Scholarship and community member Rosemarie Pierce donated 41 books valued at approximately $800 for district libraries; the board accepted those donations.
Members approved a number of additional contract renewals listed on the agenda; the board did not read the full list of renewals aloud during the meeting. All consent-agenda motions passed by voice vote.
