The board then considered a request from assistant basketball coach Kason (spelled variously in the transcript) to host the inaugural Prosser High School Basketball Golf Scramble on Sept. 6, 2025. Kason said the event would be “a community centered fundraiser to support our boys and girls basketball student athletes” and added, “All proceeds will be tracked and deposited into the appropriate ASB booster accounts.”
