Stephanie, with the City Secretary's Office, opened bids for the FY24–FY25 George Papas Tennis Court project and said three electronic proposals were received, with JABK Home LLC submitting the lowest bid of $820,000.

The bid opening, held by the City Secretary's Office, included no manual (paper) submissions, Stephanie said. She read the tabulation of electronic bids: JABK Home LLC — $820,000; Hellas Construction Agency — $1,219,213; and Abba Constructions LLC — $1,327,462.64.

The bidding record is a procedural step; staff did not award a contract during the session. “We have no manual submittals. We have 3 electronic submittals,” Stephanie said. She closed the opening by saying, “As of today, this concludes our bid for the day,” and added that questions should be directed to the purchasing department.

No motions, votes, or award decisions were recorded during the bid opening. The purchasing department will hold the procurement file and is the point of contact for follow-up questions, Stephanie said.
