The superintendent summarized the connection, saying the three policies are ‘‘all student supervision and welfare’’ and that the references were held pending adoption of the Parent Bill of Rights.
Board members cast affirmative votes during the roll call. The board president called for adoption, a motion and second were made, and the roll call returned unanimous approval from the members present.
The action completed a multi-step process the board had used to ensure referenced policies aligned with the newly adopted Parent Bill of Rights. No implementation steps beyond the vote were specified at the meeting.
