Parma Board OKs Bus Camera Purchase, Multiple Transportation Contracts to Expand Options for Student Trips

A district representative said contracted services are used for special education routes, athletic events and other situations where running a full district bus is not necessary; "We internally is always our first option," the presenter said.
Board members approved the contracts and the camera purchase by roll call during the business meeting. The district did not provide vendor contract amounts or technical specifications for the bus cameras during this meeting; staff said those details are handled through procurement and contracts and would be available in contract documents.
