The Sumner County Library Personnel Committee discussed scheduling a performance evaluation for director Gabby and tentatively selected July 31 and Aug. 7 as possible dates so the review could be available for the August library board meeting.
Committee members noted Gabby’s hire date of Aug. 23 and the evaluation window being discussed as July 23 to Sept. 23. Members favored completing the evaluation in late July or early August to avoid the busy late summer and holiday months and to allow the committee’s evaluation to be accepted by the August board meeting if possible.
The committee agreed to contact Gabby about which dates fit her calendar and to propose July 31 and Aug. 7 as options; if those dates do not work the committee will select alternate dates and proceed so evaluations do not accumulate into the fall. The motion to set the tentative dates was approved by voice vote with no opposition recorded.
