The Jim Wells County commissioners court granted final approval to the plat of 9 acres, designated Luvs addition, located adjacent to the City of Fremont at the intersection of the new Relief Route and Northeast Eighth Street.

County staff reported the plat had been submitted to the safety department and that Mr. Gonzales had verified the site is not in the flood zone. Staff said the site is expected to host a convenience store and that Circle K and Stripes have previously been approved for the area; this would be the third convenience store serving the Fremont area.

A motion to approve the plat was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. No conditions or additional permitting requirements were recorded in the meeting minutes reported at this session.

County officials noted the location is on the northeast side of the intersection; the record does not include a developer name or a construction schedule.
