Board members asked for a firm timeline. The board set a condition requiring the applicant to pull a building permit for the primary residence within one year of the variance approval. After a roll call vote, the motion to approve the variance with that one-year permit condition passed.
No members of the public spoke in opposition during the public-comment period for this item. The board asked staff to follow up with Mr. Torres regarding the file and to ensure the permit condition is monitored.
