The board also approved a service agreement with SchoolCare for 2025–26. Administrators described the agreement as no cost to the district; the platform is intended to streamline provider communications and billing and to reduce the need to expand access to the district’s DASL student information system. As one board member said during discussion, the agreement is “good from a privacy standpoint,” and the superintendent noted the district could end the arrangement if it proved unsatisfactory.
Votes and procedure: Motions for the superintendent’s consent agenda, the rescission of the classified‑staff board action, and the SchoolCare agreement were moved and seconded and were recorded as approved by board members present. The rescission motion was explained as a clerical correction and not a renegotiation of the parties’ substantive agreement.
