Urban Design Manager Hank Flores opened the item and asked whether staff had comments beyond the written staff report; no additional comments were recorded from fire, police, utilities or building staff beyond those in the staff report. A representative for the applicant did not present separate testimony.
A committee member moved to approve DRC-04-2025 for 3897 Tamiami Trail; a second was recorded and members voted "aye". The chair said the item was approved and staff would work with the applicant on staff comments.
The committee did not record any conditions beyond the standard staff review; building comments were reserved for the permitting stage.
