Brockton committee appoints superintendent to REEDS Collaborative board

The Brockton School Committee on Thursday unanimously approved appointing Superintendent Dr. Priya J. Taheliani as the district's representative to the REEDS Collaborative board of directors for the 2025'2026 term.

The vote came during a special meeting at the George M. Romm Little Theater at Brockton High School. The committee chair called for a motion to appoint Dr. Taheliani; the motion was made and the chair announced the appointment passed unanimously after members were asked if they were in favor or opposed.

The REEDS Collaborative board position was listed on the meeting agenda as an appointment for the 2025'2026 school year. Committee members did not debate the appointment on the record beyond the motion and roll-call vote.
