Susquehanna County commissioners approve equipment purchases, generator contracts and new financial/timekeeping software

The Susquehanna County Board of Commissioners on June 25 approved a series of procurement items covering vehicles and equipment, generator service and monitoring, and a software upgrade for financial management and timekeeping.
The board approved purchase of one John Deere P3323 tracked skid steer from 5 Star Equipment using state pricing and approved purchase of one Chevrolet Equinox from Sherwood Chevy; the Equinox purchase was identified in the meeting as paid with Act 13 funds. The commissioners also approved a one-year maintenance and sampling contract for courthouse generators with Kingsley Power Systems (service dates listed from June 18, 2025, through 2026) and separately authorized installation of two remote monitoring systems for generators at the county 911 site by Kingsley Power Systems.
Commissioners approved a contract with Tyler Technologies to upgrade the county’s financial system to include grant scheduling, an employee access portal, and enterprise time and attendance to replace the existing time-clock system.
Each item was presented on the agenda and approved by voice vote. The motions were moved and seconded by commissioners during the meeting; commissioners recorded all votes as “aye,” and the board carried each motion.
