The superintendent responded to the evaluation by acknowledging district accomplishments and the responsibility to address shortcomings. He said, “Burlington is a wonderful community. I’m honored and humbled to serve here,” and that the district will “deeply reflect on the findings and recommendations and make changes where the interest of all of our students make those changes advisable.”
