He said staff will replace legacy markers with clearer symbols (for example, “P” for permitted and “SC” for special exception) to make the code easier for future users to reference. “That’s an important document we have there,” Tom said, adding that the reformatting aims to preserve historical notes and improve generational continuity in the code.
