Seminole County orders property owner to remove rubbish by July 10 or face daily fines

The Seminole County Code Enforcement Board on June 26 ordered respondent Leila Litter to remove rubbish from her property at 1302 Pressview Avenue by midnight July 10 or incur a $100 daily fine.
Officer Shanita Hemingway, Seminole County Sheriff's Office code enforcement (South Region), said initial inspections and follow‑ups showed persistent rubbish on the property despite some improvements. Hemingway told the board she spoke with the respondent's daughter, who said the household had been moving and hoped passersby would take reusable items; Hemingway advised the family to arrange a bulk pickup.
"There has been a lot of improvement," Hemingway told the board, but she said rubbish remained at the June 25 inspection. The board accepted staff's recommendation setting the July 10 compliance deadline; the order specifies that if the respondent does not remove the rubbish by that date, a $100 fine will be imposed for each day the violation continues or is repeated after compliance.
