A brief, lighthearted exchange occurred when a board member suggested the start-time change include a provision for drinks and snacks; that suggestion received a second in the room but does not appear in the adopted rule. The board asked whether there were agenda items for the next month and then adjourned.
The change takes effect starting with the board’s July meeting, per the board’s vote. Members who voted in favor were recorded as Steele, McGee, Antle and Barfield.
