The Village of Waukesha village board voted to table the operator-license application for Quinn Hildebrandt after staff reported discrepancies between the information on Hildebrandt’s application packet and background records.
A trustee moved that Hildebrandt be asked to attend the next board meeting to answer questions and explain discrepancies. The mover said publicly that there were “some discrepancies from how he has his packet listed for his criminal background, that he needs to come and answer to us before we would approve it.” The motion to table was seconded and members voted to table the application until the July 10 meeting; the board directed staff to notify the applicant.
Staff indicated the background materials themselves are not included in the public packet, but trustees said they needed the applicant present to discuss the differences. No final action denying or approving the license was taken; the item remains pending.
