Council schedules July 22 hearing on zoning map amendment for three Cardinal Land Conservancy parcels

Loveland City Council on June 24 voted to schedule a public hearing for 7 p.m. July 22 to consider a Planning & Zoning Commission recommendation to amend the zoning map for three parcels owned by Cardinal Land Conservancy.
Planning staff (Mister Monich) told council the Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing on June 18 and formally recommended approval of the map amendment from residential low-density to agricultural for the three parcels.
Council moved and seconded a motion to schedule the July 22 hearing; a roll-call vote recorded the motion carried 7–0. The scheduled hearing will give residents another opportunity to comment before council considers a final zoning decision.
No land-use or development approvals were made at the June 24 meeting; the item remains at the public-hearing stage.
