The Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education Finance Committee reviewed May 2025 intrafunction transfers for grant and noncategorical funds on June 25, 2025, and recommended those items for placement on the board consent agenda.
Miss Apodaca, presenting for the district’s finance team, said the packet included an action memo, summaries and supporting documentation for the May 2025 transfers. Committee members did not raise substantive objections to the transfers but asked for clearer presentation of the data.
Board member Josefina Dominguez said there is an ongoing effort to present rows and columns “in a way that makes sense to us,” and the administration indicated it is working to improve the spreadsheets and visuals. No additional line-item questions were posed during the meeting.
The committee chair then moved the items, along with other items considered at the meeting, to the consent agenda for full board approval; the motion passed on a roll call recorded by the committee.
The matter will appear on the board consent agenda for final approval at a future full Board of Education meeting.
