Putnam County commissioners reappointed multiple members to county boards and appointed two new representatives during the meeting.

Commissioners approved reappointments effective July 1, 2025, for the following positions and terms: Amy Blevins to the Solid Waste Authority (term to expire June 30, 2028); Eric Embry to the Putnam County Civil Service Commission (term to expire June 30, 2029); Cindy Farley to the Putnam County Health Department Board (term to begin July 1, 2025; expiration noted in the record as "February" and requires clerical clarification); Mark Stowell as the county citizen representative to the regional intergovernmental council (term to expire June 30, 2026); Maggie Parsons and Alexandra Frost to the Putnam County Convention and Visitors Bureau (terms to expire June 30, 2028); Thomas Kiefer to the E-9-1-1 advisory board (term to expire June 30, 2028); Sergeant T. W. Tippett to the E-9-1-1 advisory board (term to expire June 30, 2028); and Bobby Eggleton to the E-9-1-1 advisory board (term to expire June 30, 2028).

The commission then appointed two new members: Dave Turley to the E-9-1-1 advisory board (term effective July 1, 2025, expiring June 30, 2028) and Justin Williams to the Putnam County Convention and Visitors Bureau (term effective July 1, 2025, expiring June 30, 2028).

All motions to reappoint and appoint were made, seconded and carried by voice vote. The record shows the motions were routine reappointments and appointments; no contested nominations or recusals were recorded. The commission asked staff to carry out the clerical steps to document the new terms properly.
