Hampstead commission approves clinic signage and exterior renovations at two Main Street properties

The Hampstead Planning and Zoning Commission on June 25 approved two routine applications for Main Street properties: exterior and window signage for GAH Wellness Clinic at 1302 North Main Street and exterior siding replacement at 1020 South Main Street.
GAH Wellness Clinic applicant Emily Miller, who identified herself as a family nurse practitioner, described the clinic’s aim "to open up a primary care within Hampstead in that clinic" and said the clinic will offer services intended to keep patients in the community. The commission reviewed submitted sign images and window designs and found them compliant with town code; a motion to approve the sign application passed on voice vote.
At 1020 South Main Street, applicant Dawn Ray said she and her husband plan to replace siding installed in 1982. "What we're trying to do is replace, siding that my father-in-law put on the building in 1982," Ray said. The commission reviewed color and trim samples and approved the zoning certificate for the exterior renovations by voice vote.
No conditions or permit modifications were recorded in the meeting minutes; both approvals were routine and the commission welcomed the clinic to Hampstead.
