District launches new website and app platform, expands PowerSchool integrations and digital registration

Moscow School District told trustees on June 24 that it will soon roll out a new unified communications and website platform and expand PowerSchool integrations for student information and supports.
Superintendent Sean described a transition to a Thrillshare-based site built by Apogee that ties website news, live feeds, school calendars and the district'wide app to mass-notification tools (text, email and phone). The platform will let district and building staff post news once and have it populate the district website, the school-level pages and the mobile app and social feeds, administrators said.
District staff also reviewed planned PowerSchool integrations: digitizing 504 plans and consolidating them into PowerSchool, creating a student-analytics add-on for MTSS and behavior tracking, and implementing an online student registration flow so parents can complete paperwork and have it feed directly to the student information system. Technology staff said the district will barcode and inventory devices, deploy new classroom IP clocks and update the phone and help-desk systems over the summer.
Administrators said the district will set role-based permissions so building principals control published items and that district-level posts will be managed by a small communications team to maintain consistency. The superintendent said principals and designated staff will be trained in August and that the launch is planned within weeks.
Ending: District leaders said the goal is clearer, faster communication with families and simpler administrative workflows for staff; they will brief the board as adoption progresses.
