At the June 25 meeting, staff updated the Planning Commission on community outreach and scheduling changes: assignments for the upcoming Derby Days event, a liaison transition, and a canceled July meeting.
Lauren Alpert confirmed volunteer time slots for Derby Days and asked commissioners to confirm availability. She reported that Commissioner Aparna was scheduled for 12–1 p.m., Commissioner Ben Nyman for 1–2 p.m., an open slot at 2–3 p.m., and Commissioner Coleman for 3–4 p.m.; a commissioner volunteered for the 2–3 p.m. slot during the meeting.
Planning liaison Lehi (staff) said he will transition back to the planning commission liaison role for the third quarter (July–September) and that the July 9 meeting will be canceled because the Fire strategic plan initial study session was moved to July 23. Commissioners thanked Lauren for handling the recent tour duty.
These items were announced as staff updates and did not require or receive formal commission action.
