The Moreland School District Board of Trustees voted to extend Superintendent Dr. Clover Hood’s contract through the 2028–29 school year after reviewing her evaluation and expressing support for her leadership.
Board members described the superintendent’s role as pivotal to district instruction and governance, praised recent progress under her leadership and said the evaluation and contract extension reflect a unified governance decision.
Trustees noted the board’s responsibility in maintaining a constructive relationship with the superintendent and said they intend to use evaluation and contract instruments to support continued collaboration. Dr. Hood thanked the board and said she appreciated the partnership and the opportunity to continue the district’s work.
The board took the action by motion and approved the extension by voice vote. The district indicated the contract and evaluation process is intended to support governance, feedback and long-term planning for the district’s instructional priorities.
