Committee approves appointments to five Seattle commissions; items sent to full council for confirmation

Chair Kathy Moore moved to adopt the consent calendar; the motion was seconded. The clerk called the roll and votes were recorded as follows: Council President Nelson — Aye; Councilmember Rink — Yes; Councilmember Saka — Aye; Vice Chair Solomon — Aye; Chair Kathy Moore — Aye. The clerk announced "5 in favor, none opposed." Chair Moore said the adopted items will be sent to the July 1 City Council meeting for final confirmation.
The consent calendar covered appointment ranges and bodies as listed on the agenda: appointments 3190–3193 to the Seattle Women's Commission; 3194–3201 to the Seattle Human Rights Commission; 3202–3207 to the Seattle LGBTQ Commission; 3208 to the Seattle Disability Commission; and 3209 to the Community Roots Housing Public Development Authority. No council member requested removal of any item from the consent calendar during the committee meeting.
The committee took no separate votes on individual appointments during this session. Chair Moore said adopted consent items would proceed to the full council for final confirmation on July 1.
