Board members asked whether the $9,370 payment was an annual maintenance fee; a staff member answered it is an annual payment tied to the state's system change and said the district had remaining fuel-budget funds to cover the cost. The milk bid and other vendor payments presented at the meeting were approved by voice vote.
Several smaller purchases and service contracts were approved without extended debate, including environmental-services work for classrooms and recommendations to contract security officers for school events paid from local school funds.
