The board ultimately set July 11 as the compliance date and approved the staff recommendation to impose a $250 daily fine if the pool remained unsecured.
Inspector Dickson said the city retains authority to proceed to nuisance abatement or other remedies if the owners do not comply. The board approved the order by voice vote.
