Lewis County reappoints two members to fair advisory board through 2029

The Lewis County Board of Commissioners on June 24 approved reappointment of Kendra Meek and Jerry Elliott to four-year terms on the Lewis County Fair Advisory Board, extending each appointment through 2029.
Fianna Velasquez, fair and events manager, presented the reappointments and said both candidates agreed to serve another term and that the advisory board recommended their reappointment. "During the May advisory board meeting, they both agreed, and the fair advisory board recommended to reappoint them for the next term," Velasquez said.
The reappointments were part of a group of deliberation items approved by the board by voice vote, 2-0.
