The county executive issued Executive Order 2509 to appoint Megan Liticky to the Merit System Commission, filling a vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Carrie Lindbergh. The appointment was announced during the Jackson County Legislature meeting June 2; the term is set to expire Dec. 31, 2025.

The executive's statement said Ms. Liticky's resume was attached to the order. The legislature recorded the executive order in the meeting minutes; no separate vote or objection was recorded on June 2.
