Athletics director rolls out Hudl streaming link, highlights spring successes and fall preparations

The district’s athletics director said the district will add a landing page link on its website that will direct users to Hudl for live and archived game streaming, enabling families to view home and away contests if the opposing school shares a stream.
"It's just gonna be a link on our website. It'll take us right to the landing page of the streaming site," the athletics director said, describing the plan to embed Hudl schedules and archived event video on the district athletics page. IT staff are updating the district website to include per‑sport pages and the streaming link.
The athletics director also reviewed spring results and staffing: the track team sent qualifiers to state-level competition, the softball team finished as district runner‑up, and the girls’ lacrosse team reached the state quarterfinals. New varsity coaching hires for boys’ and girls’ basketball were announced and multiple youth camps were held this summer.
Looking ahead, athletics staff proposed piloting multiple "captain's breakfasts" each season to collect athletes’ perspectives on sportsmanship, venue conditions and fan behavior. Staff noted facility preparations including power washing of stadium bleachers and coordination with facilities staff to ready fields and gyms for fall sports.
No formal board action was required; the director said the Hudl landing page will be live once IT completes website updates and that athletics will continue to coordinate schedules with visiting schools that also use Hudl.
