The commission approved requisition number 105 for the University Town Center excise tax district administrative expense fund in the amount of $51,031.59 to be paid to Steptoe & Johnson for administrative matters and a tranche extension performed the previous month. The commission also approved requisition number 17 for the Series 2021B Harmony Grove Phase 1 administrative expense fund for $395 payable to Steptoe & Johnson.
Commissioners then voted to cancel the regular meeting scheduled for July 16, 2025, citing multiple scheduling conflicts: travel to the National Association of Counties (NACo) conference for staff and Commissioner Bloom, and vacation plans for another commissioner. County officials said they would make arrangements to process vouchers and that business would continue despite the canceled meeting.
Both requisitions were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote; the cancellation likewise passed by voice vote.
