The Forest Grove School District Board approved a preliminary guaranteed maximum price (GMP) of $4,135,635 with Robinson Construction for the Fernhill Elementary pre‑K addition project at the June 24, 2025, meeting.
District staff said Robinson had been selected previously and that scope and bid packages were finalized to establish a GMP that would allow the district to begin work this summer. Staff estimated construction would start in July and extend through the 2025–26 school year with expected completion around April or May 2026.
Board members asked about schedule and how the addition will be attached to the existing building; staff replied the addition will extend the building at one end. The board voted to approve the preliminary GMP and staff said the figure is a maximum set while they finalize remaining numbers and move forward with construction scheduling.
