The Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority on June 24 authorized staff to enter a mutual termination (cancellation) agreement with Graco that would require Graco to repay funds previously provided by the HRA. Trustees approved the measure by unanimous roll-call vote.
Tanya, an HRA staff member, told trustees the matter was discussed at the June 10 management committee meeting and presented the mutual termination agreement for formal approval. "This would be an authorizing me to enter into a cancellation agreement or a mutual termination agreement with Graco. And they would pay that, funds back that you had given them," Tanya said.
Trustee Brasstead moved the motion and Trustee Reiner seconded; a roll-call vote recorded unanimous approval. No further conditions or repayment schedule were described at the meeting and staff did not provide dollar amounts during the discussion.
Staff indicated the item was a separate, discrete action from other redevelopment and budget matters under consideration; trustees took no additional steps at the meeting.
