Committee forwards Follett Content Solutions purchase to support IB exam prep

The Union County Public Schools Curriculum Committee voted to forward a purchase of Follett Content Solutions to the full board after staff described its use supporting International Baccalaureate exam preparation.
Dr. Charlotte Hancock, Director of College Readiness, explained the Follett product includes IB question banks that pull from released past exams to help prepare students. Hancock said the tool would support students in IB courses by providing practice items and resources aligned to the IB assessments.
Committee members moved and seconded sending the purchase to the full board. At the time of the vote a committee member was disconnected, and the vote tally recorded by the chair was 3-0 in favor. The committee did not discuss pricing or contract length during the meeting.
If approved by the full board, staff said the resource would be used to support IB students across the district.
