The Tuscaloosa City Council approved a series of right-of-way permits and minor public-works contracts during its meeting.
The council authorized right-of-way permits for addresses including 520 Nineteenth Avenue, 1307 University Boulevard, 800 Darlene Wallace Boulevard North, 1715 Third Street, and others; motions to adopt the resolutions were moved and seconded and recorded as adopted.
Council also approved a reimbursable agreement with the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) for relocation of utility facilities related to the Woolsey Fennell bridge replacement project and authorized the chief financial officer to draw a draft for right-of-way acquisition for the University Boulevard East Improvements Project.
The council adopted minor public-works contracts with Isbell Insulation Incorporated; Amison and Associates Incorporated; Struthers Recreation; Vision Security Technologies; and Steve Davis/ Sunheart Metal Works. Each contract was moved, seconded and recorded as adopted in the meeting minutes.
