Probation staff (juvenile and adult units) presented monthly and semiannual statistics and financials to the LaSalle County Law and Justice Committee, including caseloads, probation fee collections and grant reimbursements.
These figures help county leaders track caseload pressure and the flow of state and grant funds that support probation salaries and specialized programs.
For the month, staff reported an active juvenile caseload of 117 and an administrative juvenile caseload of 10. For adult probation, monthly probation fees ordered for LaSalle County were $6,300 and ordered-to-date were $57,300; collected for the month was $6,354.47 and collected-to-date $32,114.98. Staff reported the adult active caseload as 514 and administrative caseload as 276.
In semiannual financial reporting, probation services fund (account 26) expenditures to date were $27,699.03 with a remaining balance of $95,650.97. Staff reported realized reimbursements including a probation salary reimbursement of $1,111,875.16 and grant realizations: adult redeploy $87,549.39, juvenile redeploy $360,114.83 and treatment alternative court $128,993.12.
Committee members moved to approve the monthly and semiannual reports; motions passed by voice vote. The semiannual statistics were forwarded to the full board for approval.
