The mayor said he could not report an increase in public “see something” reports. He told reporters that the city will plan for a normal July 4 celebration and that MPD and other agencies will provide later briefings about road closures and operational plans.
The mayor urged residents to follow public guidance and said more specific operational details will be shared by MPD and federal partners when available.
