Several county officials presented monthly reports and the court approved accounts payable totaling $661,008.65.
County Clerk TJ Presner told the court the office took in $69,498.23 in May and reported heavy filings in OPR (over 700) and 26 marriage licenses. He noted the active-guardianship figure in his report was undercounted because transfers into the county were not being counted; staff are auditing records and expect a substantially higher number in the next report.
Auditor Hollis reported May sales tax receipts of $446,009.45, down about $28,000 from the same month last year; she said the general fund revenue was at about 58% of the expected year-to-date benchmark and that expense rates were in line with expectations. Hollis also said departments had submitted budgets using ClearGov software to detail capital outlays.
Tax Assessor-Collector Gascamp reported $1,780 collected in TAVC fees, 750 title transfers, 3,834 registrations and 104 permanent placards for May. The veterans service officer reported 273 contacts and 62 forms completed; funeral honors were provided for two veterans.
The treasurer (name not specified in the transcript) reported investment returns year-to-date of nearly $800,000 and said pledged bank collateral exceeded county requirements.
On accounts payable, staff presented a total of $661,008.65, including a large weekly Metro bill and a Stryker equipment payment. A motion to approve accounts payable carried by voice vote.
