The Planning and Zoning Commission on June 24 unanimously approved the final plat for Lot 1R, Block A of Bear Creek Office Park, a northern lot in the Flex plan development at the corner of Bear Creek Parkway West and Chisholm Trail.
Staff said the plat was required because the applicant proposed to abandon a waterline easement that crosses the middle of the lot; the Unified Development Code requires plats that abandon easements to be processed as major subdivision plats and approved by the commission. Planning staff confirmed there are no city assets in the easement and that the plat otherwise conforms to code.
Commission action Commissioners had no questions and moved the item on consent. The motion to approve passed unanimously. No variances were required; civil construction and other permits will proceed as applicable under the approved plan development.
