The Mayfield Heights City Council on June 23 approved a contract with Weatherproofing Technologies Inc. to replace the roof on City Hall.
Schmidlin presented Resolution 2025-36, which awards the contract in accordance with bid specifications. The service department and Tremco provided proposals and a memo was circulated to councilmembers with the recommendation.
Councilmember Balestreya asked whether funds were already allocated for the roof. Director of Finance Scully confirmed funding: "So this is coming out of the Issue 9 money for the roof, and we planned it. We had budgeted $250,000 for it for this year," Scully said.
Council moved and approved the resolution the same night; the motion and roll-call vote to adopt the resolution were affirmative across members present.
Resolution: 2025-36 (award contract to Weatherproofing Technologies Inc. to install new roof on City Hall).
