District says LAUSD-approved pool project and separate HVAC upgrades are moving forward; bungalow classrooms in use

Staff reported the bungalow classroom project is up and running and classrooms are in use; the presenter said they were "tying up the knots on the back end." Staff also described an HVAC package that will add HVAC to the gym and to boys' and girls' locker rooms, and said the HVAC work is a separate project from the pool. The presenter said the district's roof-repair work is "almost completely done," with some remaining issues in the boys' locker room area tied to a separate funding stream. Board members asked questions about project sequencing and whether the pool project piggybacked on the HVAC initiative; staff said the pool proceeded quickly and the projects are distinct.
