Orange County Schools operations staff provided an update June 23 on summer capital projects and routine maintenance, describing work to improve safety, air quality and efficiency across the district.
Director of Operations Mr. Davis told the Board of Education the department is completing cameras and access-control installations, replacing HVAC equipment and controls, performing deep cleaning and ductwork work at several schools, and continuing renovations at Efflyn Cheeks and other sites. “It is and makes valid sense that we are the transaction that makes the transformational possible,” Davis said, describing operations work that supports instruction.
