Police report: homicides remain at zero year-to-date; auto thefts and burglaries down from prior counts

A deputy noted that while low counts are positive, enforcement and community reporting (watch orders) remain important for addressing nuisance behavior and trespassing in certain lake-front areas that are not yet in town control.
The committee asked that watch-order procedures be used when neighbors report recurring problems and that residents use the town’s reporting app to document incidents for enforcement follow-up.
