West Valley board approves employment contract for incoming assistant superintendent; outgoing aide thanked

"I'd just like to share with the board, this is the last board meeting that Joe Connolly will be attending as a staff member," Doctor Finch said, noting Connolly will remain in the community.
Finch introduced Ryan McDaniel to the meeting and invited board members and attendees to speak with him after the meeting.
"Ryan will be taking over as this assistant superintendent, for the West High School District. And, would like, to invite you to stick around afterwards and just, say hello to Ryan and certainly say goodbye to Joe," Finch said.
Board members expressed appreciation for Connolly's work and welcomed McDaniel. One board member said Connolly had done "a fantastic job" on projects during his tenure. The meeting record shows the board approved the employment contracts earlier in the session; board members invited attendees to remain after adjournment to greet both administrators.
