The staff member said he had contacted the original insulation contractor twice without response and will look for alternate vendors.
The update noted that the remaining work would not affect the CO timeline if it cannot be completed within the available budget, and staff presented insulating only the roof deck as a minimal option. The board received the update with no formal action requested or taken.
The facilities presenter also said the warehouse project had purchased and staged equipment for installation and that the remaining budget would be used to help crews working in the space, if possible. Board members asked no follow-up questions beyond acknowledging the statutory update.
